Holiday Planner Class

Here is the Holiday Planner that we will create on November 19th. The tabs are: Calendar, Events, Cards, Gifts, Budget, To Do and Party Planning. There is a pocket to hold receipts. You can customize this planner to fit your exact needs. The little bird in the bottom corner is Maya Road and matches the paper at the top quite well. The paper at the top is glittered and has wonderful texture.
This is a fun project that is sure to be extreemly helpful in keeping your schedule in order leading up to the big day.
Please let me know if you are planning to attend this class, as there will be a limited number of kits available. If you sign up with a comment to this post you will be entered in a drawing. The lucky winner of the drawing will get this class at half price - yeah, half price!
Cost for this class is $20. I have an assortment of embellishments for you to use on your project, I just didn't add them to my class sample.

Other color and pattern options are available, so if you like the idea but prefer a different color or pattern please let me know. I have plenty of other options for you.

Blog Design

Thanks to inspiration from my friend Susan Tidwell, my blog has a new look. I've been wondering how I go about fixin' it up to be pretty and I've played with all of the settings that I could find in here. I've managed to learn a few things, but I've not been really happy with the look. I still feel like I want to fine tune things, but at least now I feel like it is coming along.

By the way, I would LOVE to have comments. If you are reading this blog, please just leave a short comment (or long if you like) to let me know that you have been here.

I'm looking forward to posting more now that I"m liking the look of the blog. Also, I will be playing with adding pictures to the posts.

Check out Susans blog here: http://susan-artfulmusings.blogspot.com (hopefully I did that right)

Happy Friday and have a fabulous weekend!

November Happenings

November is shaping up to be a busy month. It seems like these first 5 days have passed in a flash. Imagine how quickly Thanksgiving will be here (3 weeks from tomorrow)!

I will teach the 'Tool Time' class on Wednesday the 12th, and details are in a previous post. Just scroll down for more information on that class.

I will be at the Saginaw Recreation Center Fall Activities Fair on Saturday the 15th with a number of projects on display and some very cool scrappy prizes.

It looks like I will be demonstrating for Fiskars in Denton on the 16th at a Michaels store.

On the 19th we will create a super helpful Holiday Planner. I will be posting more details on this project. This will be a 'must have' tool for keeping track of all of our busy lists leading up to Christmas.

On the 21st I will have surgery on my left hand for Carpel Tunnel. This shouldn't put me out of crafting for very long. I'm expecting to be 'down' for maybe a couple of weeks and hopefully less.
